I have chosen cheerios as the cereal for this smoothie, but you can use your favorite cereal but I recommend to use something healthy.
I have used some sugar in this recipe, but if you want to make this recipe more healthy feel free to replace the sugar with something more healthy like pure maple syrup or honey (if you like the flavors).
When I choose the bananas for the smoothies, I do not like to use overripe bananas as the flavor is quite too much, but that is your choice. I find that overripe bananas are the best for baking whether you bake cakes or muffins or bread, however, overripe bananas do not seems to be the best for smoothies. However, it is your choice 🙂
If you are following a vegan diet, you can make this an easy vegan banana smoothie recipe by replacing the whole milk with almond milk, coconut milk or soy milk.

- 2 Bananas
- 1 cup Cheerios
- 3 cups Chilled Whole Milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar (or any sweetener of your choice) adjust to your preference
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 Ice Cubes
- Peel the bananas and cut it into small pieces.
- Transfer the chopped bananas to the blender along with all other ingredients, blend until smooth. Serve in glass cups, enjoy!
