Instructions

  • Heat milk in a saucepan and once it starts boiling, add turmeric powder to the milk.
  • Let it boil for few seconds, then add the honey to the hot milk, stir and then turn off the stove. Have the turmeric milk once it is still warm for instant relief from sore throat!

Notes

This turmeric milk is slightly spicy, which helps you feel relieved when you have sore throat. I prefer to take this without sugar, but adding organic raw honey is very effective with this turmeric milk. The combination of milk, turmeric and raw honey, slightly warm, will act like an instant remedy for sore throat pain and cold. You may also try adding other spices like cardamom or  cinnamon to improve the flavor, if you wish. Make sure you stir the milk very well with a spoon before having it, since turmeric seem to settle down with time.
