Milk Cookies With Milk Powder

Milk cookies made using  milk powder makes the most easy, soft, best ever milk cookies perfect for snacking or desserts!

You can enjoy these deliicous soft cookies with a cup of milk or coffee or tea as you like!

We first make the cookie dough using milk powder along with flour and other ingredients, and then we make cookies using the homemade cookie dough which is chilled for few minutes!

Cookie dough

To make the cookie dough, we use the following ingredients:

1.5 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons dry milk powder ½ cup melted butter at room temperature ¾ cup sugar ¼ cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Follow the instructions to make the cookie dough:

In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients – flour, baking powder, salt and milk powder. In another bowl, add the melted butter and sugar and mix well. Also add the water and vanilla extract to the butter sugar mixture and stir in to mix well. Add the wet ingredients mixture slowly to the dry flour mixture to get a crumbly mixture. Make sure its mixed well so all the ingredients are evenly combined. Knead well with hands to form the cookie dough.

Chill the prepared cookie dough for few minutes:

Transfer the bowl with cookie dough to the refrigerator and chill in the refrigerator for about 15 to 20 minutes (do not chill for more time as the dough may harden). Once chilled for about 20 minutes, the dough is ready to be used to make the cookies.

To bake the cookies:

Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.  Make small balls out of the dough, then slightly press the balls and place them all in the cookie sheet (leave enough space in between each cookie) Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 to 12 minutes to make delicious milk cookies!
