Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced watermelon cubes chilled or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons filtered lemon juice optional
  • 1 cup chilled water
  • 3 ice cubes

For topping (optional)

  • 2 ice cubes
  • 2 fresh mint leaves optional

Instructions

  • Blend all the ingredients together (except the ones for topping) in the blender until very smooth.
You do not have to filter this juice since the watermelon blends really very well.
  • Pour the refreshing watermelon juice to serving glass, add the remaining ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves if you wish.
Enjoy the refreshing and cool watermelon drink that is all natural and cool on its own.
  • Make sure to serve this as soon as you prepare, as this watermelon juice tastes the best when prepared.
If you are saving this for a few hours, make sure to keep this refrigerated and use it the same day (also stir well before serving).

Notes

Watermelon juice or watermelon slush is naturally so delicious, cooling and refreshing even without any sugar.
If you like the juice to be more sweet, you may also add about a tablespoon (adjust to taste) of sugar or any natural sweetener as you prefer.
