White Garlic Sauce For Pasta And Pizza No Cheese

This simple garlic sauce for pasta and pizza is very easy to prepare and it is delicious too which you can quickly prepare without using extra cream or cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon fine garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper powder optional
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  • In a small pan, melt the butter and add flour. Stir well with a spoon so no lumps are formed.
  • When the butter and flour are nicely mixed, add the milk and stir everything well.
  • Add salt and garlic powder, bring the sauce to a boil while still stirring.
  • Once the pasta sauce starts boiling, sprinkle the white pepper powder (if using) and switch off the stove and transfer the sauce from the stove.
  • Pour the sauce to the cooked pasta and mix the pasta gently so each pasta shell is coated with the white sauce. If you are making this for pizza, you can add this white sauce on top of the pizza crust instead of cheese.

Notes

You can add stir fried vegetables or roasted vegetables like this roasted cauliflower to the pasta if you like. Serve and enjoy the delicious and simple pasta with white sauce!
If you want to use this white sauce for pizza, just top the pizza with the white sauce instead of cheese once you have your toppings and then bake the pizza as usual.
If you only want to use the white sauce for pizza, you can also skip the tomato sauce and just use the white sauce instead.
If you wish to add cheese, you can always add cheese once you add the sauce.
