Ingredients

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 cups chilled whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup (or sugar or any sweetener of your choice) adjust to your preference
  • 2 Ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream 2 tablespoons optional, use nut butter if you wish

Instructions

  • Peel the apples and chop in to small pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine the ingredients - chopped apples, milk, sweetener and ice cubes.
  • Add this to a blender and blend well in high till everything is well combined. If using cream or any nut butter (or even chopped nuts), you can add them also to the blender and blend the contents until its very smooth.
  • Pour the delicious milkshake to glass cups and enjoy the drink while it is still cold and chilled!If saving for later use, you should refrigerate the milkshake for best results.

Notes

You can use vanilla flavored milk instead of using milk and vanilla extract separately. If you use the vanilla flavored milk which is already sweetened, you may not need extra sweetener, or adjust the amount as needed.
Adding fresh cream or nut butters (preferably almond or cashew butter) are totally optional and do it only if you like the flavors, but they really enhance the flavors and make the milkshake more rich and delicious too.
