Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen corn
  • salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (may use upto 4 tablespoons)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
Transfer the frozen corn kernels to a mixing bowl.
  • Add the melted butter, salt and black pepper, mix very well using a spoon. If the butter solidifies, you can use the spoon to gently break the clusters and mix the corn very well.
  • Layer a baking sheet with aluminium foil.
Layer the prepared frozen corn in the baking sheer in a single layer.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the corn is lightly browned.
If possible, carefully stir the corn using a long spoon or spatula once its baked for about 15 minutes and then bake for the rest of the time, since it will help the corn to bake more evenly.
Once baked, immediately transfer the corn from the hot oven to avoid further baking.
  • Stir the roasted corn very well using a spoon, transfer to a serving dish and serve warm for best results! You can add more black pepper powder or seasonings of your choice.
