Easy homemade blueberry cobbler is juicy and delicious with a lot of blueberry filling inside and with a soft, cake like crust for topping. This is simple & easy to make from scratch at home and it's the perfect dessert when you have a lot of fresh blueberries at home!
Wash the strawberries very well, add sugar mix well with the blueberries.
Add the cornstarch and mix evenly with the sugared blueberries so the fruits are coated with the cornstarch.
Keep this prepared fruit mixture aside, you can even refrigerate this mixture for keeping it fresh until we make the batter for the cobbler.
To make the batter:
Add the flour to a large bowl.
In a different bowl, mix together the softened butter and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Add milk and vanilla extract also to the butter sugar mixture and whisk well to combine.
Pour the wet ingredients mixture to the dry flour mixture and mix well to combine and form the batter for the cobbler.
To make the blueberry cobbler:
Preheat oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit.
Grease a pan with little butter and place the blueberries in a single layer.
Pour the batter over the blueberries, gently mix in to spread it evenly across the pan.
Place the pan inside a cookie sheet or baking sheet (to catch any drippings from the cobbler) and bake the cobbler in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degree Fahrenheit and bake for another 15 minutes or until the cobbler is cooked through!
Serve the delicious blueberry cobbler while its still warm (or you may chill it once it reaches room temperature) with ice cream or whipped cream as you like!
