Ingredients

  • 16 oz frozen broccoli
  • 1 large white onion sliced, may use red onion or yellow onion as you prefer
  • salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice may use little more if needed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Add the frozen broccoli to a baking casserole dish.
  • Add the sliced onions, salt, oil, spices and lemon juice, toss everything well using a spatula (If you find it difficult to mix frozen broccoli, you may thaw the broccoli by heating in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, but I usually just use the frozen broccoli without thawing unless its really hard to break the frozen clusters).
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes until the broccoli and onions are roasted and beginning to brown!
  • Enjoy the easy, delicious and nutritious oven roasted seasoned broccoli and onions as a side dish for any meal including lunch or dinner!
