Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen broccoli florets
  • salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • teaspoon black pepper powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Transfer the frozen broccoli florets to a large bowl (using a large bowl make mixing easier).
  • Add salt, lemon juice and spices and also the oil, mix using a spoon and toss well using a large spoon or spatula so the broccoli florets are well mixed with the remaining ingredients. Gently swirling the florets around the mixing bowl using the spoon will help the spices and oil to coat evenly all over.

To roast the broccoli florets:

  • Layer a baking sheet with good quality aluminium foil (do not use parchment paper since we are baking in high temperature).
  • Place the seasoned frozen broccoli florets in a single layer in the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 22 to 23 minutes until the broccoli florets are well roasted and lightly browned!
  • Once the broccoli is baked, immediately transfer them from the hot oven to prevent further baking.
  • Enjoy the easy, quick, simple, healthy and delicious oven roasted broccoli florets for snack or sides or you may pair it with any other dishes as you like!
