Yogurt Drink - Sweet Indian Lassi Drink

Indian yogurt drink or sweet Indian lassi made using yogurt and milk as the main ingredients is perfect, refreshing drink for summer or even winter!
We use the following ingredients to make easy, homemade, delicious and creamy sweet yogurt lassi which is one of the most popular Indian yogurt drinks.

  • 2 cups yogurt use thick, creamy yogurt that is chilled (or use curd or dahi popular in India)
  • 1 cup milk chilled
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder or use ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon rose essence optional, you may also use about 1 teaspoon of rose water instead


  • Transfer the yogurt to a good quality blender.
  • Also add the milk, sugar and cardamom powder (or vanilla extract) to the blender. If using rose essence or rose extract (or rose water), also add that.
  • Blend until smooth, serve immediately for best results!
