Banana Mandarin Orange Juice Smoothie

Banana mandarin orange juice smoothie using bananas, mandarin oranges, orange juice and milk makes an easy, quick creamy citrus fruit smoothie for breakfast or snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas frozen or fresh
  • 3 mandarin oranges seedless (frozen segments or just chilled)
  • ½ cup orange juice chilled (or plain ice water)
  • 2 cups milk or almond milk, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  • Add the bananas and oranges (peeled and make sure there are no seeds) to the blender.
  • Also add the milk, orange juice and honey, blend until smooth.
  • Serve immediately for best results!
  • In this orange juice smoothie, we also use milk. Since we combine milk and orange juice, there is an increased chance of smoothie to curdle, if you keep it for long in room temperatures.
  • For best results, it is always good enjoy the smoothie as soon as it is made.
  • If you store in refrigerator too, there is a chance the smoothie may curdle.
  • To store for longer periods, it is a good ideas to transfer the banana orange juice smoothie to ice cube trays and store in the freezer where it can stay fresh!

Notes

You can replace fresh mandarin oranges & orange juice with canned mandarins in it's own juice.
If you don't have mandarin oranges, just use regular oranges like navel oranges etc, but make sure to use seedless or remove the seeds before you add the oranges to the blender.
