Ingredients

  • 1 large bananas chilled
  • 1 small orange chilled, I used seedless mandarin orange, equivalent to about 1 cup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice from half of a lemona
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups water chilled
  • 4 ice cubes optional

Instructions

  • Peel the chilled banana, roughly slice and add the slices to the blender.
  • Also add the orange segments (chilled) to the blender.
  • Add sugar, lemon juice and water also to the blender.
  • Blend the contents for few seconds. You shouldn't be blending this until smooth or for more time, since we are only making a juice and we don't want the fruit fibers to blend it's flavors with the juice.
  • Once the contents are blended for few seconds, filter the prepared juice through a good strainer.
  • You can use a spoon to gently stir the contents in the strainer which will make the juice to go through the strainer more easily.
  • Once the juice is strained into a different container or jug, you may discard the residue pulp collected in the strainer.
  • Transfer the prepared, filtered banana orange juice to glass cups (with ice cubes added if desired), and serve immediately for best results!
