  • 4 medium sized Potatoes (yellow yukon gold potatoes or russet potatoes can be used)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt adjust as needed
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper add more or less as needed


  • Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Wash the potatoes very well and cut the potatoes in slightly thick even sized wedges.
  • Transfer the potato wedges to a large bowl, add the oil, salt and black pepper powder, mix everything well until the all the potato wedges are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  • Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in a greased baking sheet or arrange them in a baking sheet lined with non stick silicon mat or foil to make the job more easier.
  • Bake for about 45 minutes or until the potato wedges turn golden brown in color.
  • Transfer the roasted potato wedges from the oven immediately to avoid further browning.
  • Serve the delicious roasted potatoes for lunch, dinner or snack. You can also serve the potato wedges along with tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, guacamole or any sauce you like.
