Strawberry banana milkshake using fresh strawberries, bananas and ice cream makes a very yummy, easy, homemade drink that is perfect for summer!

- 2 cups strawberries
- 2 large bananas ripe
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 scoop ice cream optional, you can use vanilla, strawberry or banana ice cream as you like
Wash the strawberries very well, hull the strawberries and slice in halves.
Add the sliced strawberries to a good quality blender.
Peel the bananas, slice in halves or more, add them also to the blender.
Add the milk, sugar or maple syrup and vanilla extract, blend everything until smooth.
If using ice cream, also add the ice cream and blend again to make creamy, delicious strawberry milkshake!
Transfer the prepared milkshake to glass cups, serve immediately for best results.
