Easy homemade croutons using baguette bread makes great crunchy snack or you can add them to salads, soups etc for great texture.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups cubed baguette I used less than ½ of a large french baguette bread
  • garlic salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground or powdered

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Place the cubed french bread (baguette bread) in a single layer in a large baking sheet. Sprinkle the seasonings garlic salt and black pepper.
  • Bake for about 14 to 15 minutes until the croutons are lightly browned.
  • Transfer the croutons immediately from the hot oven to stop further baking.
  • Once cooled, enjoy immediately in salads, snacks or casseroles or you can store it in air tight containers for few more days usage.
