  • 1 tablespoon butter melted, or oil 1 tablespoon
  • salt a pinch
  • teaspoon black pepper powder

  • Add the butter or oil to a microwave safe bowl.
  • Crack the egg also to the bowk and sprinkle with salt. Using a fork, gently poke the yolk a bit.
  • Place the cheese slice above the egg, covering the egg. If needed, you may use some more cheese!
  • Place the bowl in microwave and heat for 1 minute and 20 seconds.
  • Once it's done, carefully take the bowl outside (it will be pretty hot), sprinkle with black pepper powder and serve hot for breakfast along with toast, pancakes etc.
  • If you don't want the fried egg to be over easy, and if you wish the egg yolk to be cooked to a medium jammy consistency (fried over medium), you may microwave the egg for another 25 seconds. For fully cooked egg (fried over hard egg), cook for another one more minute!
