Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake

Easy, quick, creamy and delicious milkshake for chocolate & peanut butter lovers! If you want to reduce the calories, you may replace the cream with low fat milk and you may skip the sweetener too (though I wouldn't recommend that since peanut butter & maple syrup makes a wonderful combination).

  • Blender

  • 2 cups chocolate ice cream
  • 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons pure fresh maple syrup (or sugar, adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup milk chilled
  • ½ cup cream chilled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Add the chocolate ice cream to the blender and then add the peanut butter.
  • Also add the remaining ingredients (milk, cream, sweetener and vanilla) to the bldender and blend everything until smooth.
  • Transfer to glasses (top with colorful sprinkles for an easy decoration if you like), serve immediately for best results!

If you are serving this milkshake sometime later, you will need to refrigerate the milkshake and also stir well right before serving.
Otherwise contents from peanut butter and chocolate will settle down to the bottom of the glass as they sit on for more time, so make sure to stir well before serving if you are saving this for a later time.
If you want to store this milkshake for few days, you may freeze the peanut butter chocolate milkshake in ice cube trays and thaw it in the refrigerator sometime before serving, and then blend it in the blender again, until the milkshake is creamy and smooth.
