Strawberry banana milkshake using fresh strawberries, bananas and ice cream makes a very yummy, easy, homemade drink that is perfect for summer!

  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 2 large bananas ripe
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop ice cream optional, you can use vanilla, strawberry or banana ice cream as you like


  • Wash the strawberries very well, hull the strawberries and slice in halves.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to a good quality blender.
  • Peel the bananas, slice in halves or more, add them also to the blender.
  • Add the milk, sugar or maple syrup and vanilla extract, blend everything until smooth.
  • If using ice cream, also add the ice cream and blend again to make creamy, delicious strawberry milkshake!
  • Transfer the prepared milkshake to glass cups, serve immediately for best results.
