- 12 oz spinach leaves
- ¼ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder may use little more for seasoning if needed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Place the spinach leaves in a large frying pan and add lemon juice.
Cook in medum low heat for about 2 minutes until the leaves begin to wilt and if you are using frozen leaves, wait for the water content to evaporate.
Add olive oil and salt, mix well with the spinach.
Add minced fresh garlic, dried onions and black pepper powder and saute the mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes until the spinach is sauteed well and the flavors are well blended with the spinach.
Transfer the prepared spinach leaves to a serving dish.
You may season with more lemon juice, pepper etc if desired!
