Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries sliced, fresh or frozen
  • 2 large bananas sliced
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey optional, adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Place the sliced strawberries (washed and stems removed, then sliced in halves or quarters) in a good quality blender.
  • Also place the sliced bananas in the blender. Add milk also to the blender and also add honey if using.
  • Blend everything until smooth.
  • Transfer to glass cups and serve immediately for best results.

Notes

To make the best strawberry banana smoothie without yogurt or ice, make sure to use good quality strawberries and bananas and milk!
In this recipe, you may use fresh or frozen berries and bananas as you prefer. I usually use fresh strawberries and bananas since the smoothie is already thick from the fruits and I do not always prefer a very thick, frosty smoothie.
If you prefer a super thick, frosty textured smoothie, you can use frozen strawberries or frozen banana slices for the best results! Also, to enjoy the best strawberry banana smoothie, make sure to serve it as soon as it is made!
