Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen peas
  • 2 medium sized onions peeled and diced
  • salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder or curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, add the frozen green peas and diced onions.
  • Also add salt, oil, lemon juice and all spice powders for seasoning.
  • Mix well using a spoon so the seasoning is coated well in the peas and onions.
  • Transfer the seasoned frozen peas and onions to a baking dish (greased with a little oil or butter) and make sure to arrange the veggies in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes until the peas and onions are roasted and the onions look lightly caramelized.
  • You may give a stir to the contents about half way through baking, for more even baking of the veggies.
