Ingredients

  • 1 cup blackberries chilled (or frozen)
  • 1.5 cups strawberries chilled (or frozen)
  • 1 large banana fresh or frozen
  • 1.5 cups milk chilled
  • 2 tablespoons pure fresh maple syrup or honey, adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries very well, remove any green leaves at the stems and slice in halves if using medium sized strawberries (you can cut them in quarters if you are using large sized berries so it will be easy to blend).
  • Add the sliced strawberries to a good quality blender.
  • Also add washed blackberries. Roughly slice the banana (if using fresh) and add that also to the blender (or you can use frozen sliced bananas).
  • Add milk and maple syrup (or honey), blend the contents until smooth!
  • Transfer the prepared blackberry strawberry banana smoothie to glass cups and serve immediately for best results!
