Blueberry Yogurt Fruit Smoothie Bowl With Frozen Wild Blueberries

- 1.5 cups frozen blueberries I used wild blueberries
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons honey adjust to taste
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ¼ cup cashews may substitute with 2 tablespoons cashew butter or peanut butter or almond butter
Optional ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons protein powder
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 cup water or as needed to blend if necessary
For Topping Ideas:
- 2 tablespoons blueberries
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds or cashews, optional
- 2 tablespoons sliced bananas or strawberries, raspberries etc or any sliced fruits
Place the frozen blueberries in a good quality blender.
Add yogurt, milk, honey, chia seeds and raw cashews (or any nut butter instead of cashews).
Also add any or all optional ingredients (except water) to the blender.
Blend the contents until smooth, if it is too thick and if you find it difficult to blend, add water as needed and blend until the contents are smooth.
Transfer the prepared blueberry smoothie to bowls.
Top with more frozen blueberries or other fruits like sliced bananas, strawberries, raspberries etc or you may add nuts like sliced almonds or raw cashews as you like, enjoy immediately for best results!
