Top up the smoothie bowl with even more frozen blueberries or add more fruits or nuts like sliced bananas, strawberries, raspberries, sliced almonds etc for a delicious, yet nutritious smoothie bowl filled with the goodness of blueberries and other fruits and nuts!

I used plain yogurt in this recipe but you may use flavored yogurts like strawberry yogurt, vanilla yogurt etc or use greek yogurt for even more thick texture.

What Are Fruit Smoothie Bowls?

blueberry fruit yogurt smoothie bowl

Fruit smoothie bowls are perfect for breakfast if you love smoothies.

While you enjoy drinking smoothies, you can enjoy smoothie bowls using a spoon and they are usually topped with more fresh fruits and sliced nuts etc.

While smoothies can be made using just yogurt and other ingredients as well, fruit smoothie bowls are often made using some kind of fruit as one of the main ingredients.

In this blueberry fruit smoothie bowl, we use frozen wild blueberries as the main ingredient.

You may also use regular frozen blueberries instead of wild blueberries if that is what you have!

The texture of smoothies made for making smoothie bowls can be slightly thicker than smoothies meant for drinking since you serve the smoothie in a bowl and you can use a spoon to enjoy the smoothie instead of drinking it.
