To make chamomile tea on stove top
Heat the water in a saucepan, bring it to a boil.
Transfer the hot water to a cup containing the chamomile tea bags. (Pour the hot water into the cup with chamomile tea bag). Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.
Remove the tea bag, add the honey to the tea and enjoy the relaxing chamomile tea sweetened with pure and organic raw honey.
To make iced chamomile tea:
If you want more servings of chamomile tea so that you can store it and sip the tea when you want throughout the week, you may prepare large batch of chamomile tea to make multiple servings.
In this recipe, we only made a small cup of chamomile tea which you can easily make in the microwave.
If you want to make large quantities of tea, you will need to prepare hot water accordingly, which you can do on stove top since it will be difficult to do on microwave.
Also you can use more tea bags and more honey to sweeten the tea as you need.
The steeping time of the tea will remain the same.
Just increase the amount of ingredients proportionately to make more servings of tea.
As I mentioned earlier, if you wish to make iced tea, cool the tea to room temperature, then refrigerate the prepared tea.
Once the tea is cold, serve the tea with added ice cubes for delicious iced chamomile tea!
If you make large quantities of tea, it is a good idea to store the prepared tea for later use.
You can store the tea in the refrigerator for a couple of days (transfer to refrigerator once the tea is cooled to room temperature) and you can serve later as you need.
If you want hot or warm tea, just heat on stove top or you can heat the tea in microwave safe mugs or cups. Otherwise, just add ice cubes to enjoy iced tea.
For longer storage, you can transfer the tea to ice cube trays and store for even more days, though I haven't stored this for more than a couple of weeks.
