Ingredients

  • 4 oz kale chopped, about 2 cups
  • salt a pinch
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

optional ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
  • Place the chopped kale leaves in a large baking sheet.
  • Add salt and oil, mix together with kale leaves to combine evenly. If you are using any of the optional ingredients, add them too to the kale and mix evenly.
  • Spread the seasoned kale leaves in the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 to 9 minutes until the kale is roasted. Once it's done, immediately transfer the roasted kale from the hot oven to a cool surface to avoid burning the leaves.
I drizzled extra olive oil on roasted kale leaves, but you may do that only if you wish! It is best to serve the roasted kale chips soon for best results!

Notes

Serve the roasted kale immediately for best results, you may enjoy it as it is or you can add it to salads, pasta, soups etc as you wish!
