- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 2 large bananas ripe, chilled or frozen slices
- 2 cups milk chilled
- 2 tablespoons pure fresh maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the roughly sliced bananas (chilled or frozen sliced bananas) to the blender.
Also add the creamy peanut butter, chilled milk, pure fresh maple syrup and vanilla extract.
Blend until the contents are smooth.
Transfer to cups, serve immediately for best results!
If you want a thick, frosty textured smoothie, make sure to use frozen sliced bananas.
You can slice the ripe bananas in advance and transfer the slices to a ziploc bag and keep in the freezer so you can use that to make this smoothie.
If there is no frozen banana slices, chilled bananas work just fine, which is what I personally prefer.
