    If you want a thick, frosty textured smoothie, make sure to use frozen sliced bananas.

However, if you do not want a very frosty and thick smoothie, you can use fresh, chilled bananas that are roughly sliced, which is what I often do unless I want a very frosty, thick smoothie.

    Though you may use any kind of peanut butter that you have, including chunky peanut butter, it is a good idea to use creamy peanut butter to make smoothies since it blends really well in the smoothie. As I mentioned before, it is also a great idea to add one tablespoon of cocoa powder or two tablespoons of chocolate syrup if you want to make chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie!

    If you are a coffee lover, also feel free to add about one teaspoon of instant coffee powder to make delicious coffee peanut butter banana smoothie that is even more perfect for busy mornings if you want to drink your coffee with the smoothie!
