- 10 oz frozen peas
- 2 medium sized onions peeled and diced
- salt adjust to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder or curry powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, add the frozen green peas and diced onions.
Also add salt, oil, lemon juice and all spice powders for seasoning.
Mix well using a spoon so the seasoning is coated well in the peas and onions.
Transfer the seasoned frozen peas and onions to a baking dish (greased with a little oil or butter) and make sure to arrange the veggies in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes until the peas and onions are roasted and the onions look lightly caramelized.
You may give a stir to the contents about half way through baking, for more even baking of the veggies.
