creamy cold coffee

Coffee can be prepared in many different ways and cold coffee can be made in many different ways too.

All cold coffee recipes do not use milk as well. Since this is a milk coffee recipe, we also use milk in the recipe.

You may also use creamer or half and half instead.

This cold coffee is different from the very popular iced coffee.

I did not use any ice in this cold coffee preparation, though you may add some if you wish.

Instead of ice cubes or just cold milk, you can also use frozen milk cubes (you can freeze milk in ice cube trays in advance) and use it if you wish to make the milk coffee even more cold, refreshing and frosty in texture.

I have also made coffee milkshake with ice cream, and instant coffee which is another rich and delicious coffee drink that tastes like a dessert drink!

And this is an easy, delicious, frothy instant cold milk coffee made in a blender!

You can read more about instant coffee here.

Can you make instant coffee with cold water & milk?

Yes, delicious instant coffee can be made with cold water and milk as well.

In fact, that is how we make this instant cold coffee with milk here.

We only use cold water and cold milk to make this instant coffee.

Unlike brewed coffee, this can be prepared more easily and instantaneously at home.

You do not need a coffee maker when you use instant coffee powder and you do not even need to heat or warm the water or milk, since we are making it cold.

See how easy the process is!

Since this is a cold milk coffee, we can easily make this in the blender using instant coffee powder, milk and sugar.

Making it in the blender helps to make it frothy & more creamy and delicious!

As I mentioned, since it’s a cold coffee drink, we do not need to mix the coffee in warm water or hot water to make this coffee.

We just need cold milk, cold water and instant coffee powder to which we also add sugar (or another sweetener) and vanilla.

You may also add some cream or half and half to make it even more creamy and rich in texture.

So here is how you can make this easy, delicious instant cold milk coffee in the blender.

How to make instant cold milk coffee?

We use the following ingredients to make creamy, delicious instant cold milk coffee.

ingredients to make instant cold milk coffee

instant coffee powder 1 teaspoon

whole milk ½ cup (cold)

water ½ cup (cold)

Notes: If you wish to replace milk with cream or half & half for more creamy & rich texture, you may need to reduce the amount of cream to about ¼ cup (in place of ½ cup milk) and increase the amount of water by ¾ cup.

However, you may also adjust the amounts of cream or milk, water and sugar based on your personal preferences!

Also you want it to be more frosty in texture, you can freeze the milk in ice cube trays and use the frozen milk cubes instead of using cold milk.

Can you make cold milk coffee with brewed coffee?

Yes, you can make cold coffee using brewed coffee as well!

Just make some brewed coffee in advance (make as you usually do) and allow it to cool down.

Once the brewed coffe is room temperature, chill the brewed coffee in refrigerator for a couple of hours so ot’s well chilled.

Then, use the brewed cofee in place of coffee powder and water, and adjust the amount of milk or creamer as you prefer.

Because, since the brewed coffee already has water in it, you do not need to add extra water.

Add the brewed coffee, milk, vanilla and your preferred amount of sugar to the blender and make the cold coffee easily at home using your favorite brewed coffee if you wish!

Tips to make the best ever homemade cold milk coffee

To make the best ever homemade cold coffee, here are some tips!

Make sure to use the best quality, fresh coffee to make the best cold coffee.

Whether you use instant coffee powder or you use brewed coffee to make cold coffee, make sure to use the best quality coffee to make the cold coffee.

Make sure to use fresh, good quality full fat milk for best results.

Whether you use full fat whole milk or coffee creamer, half and half etc, make sure to use the best quality, fresh ones.

Sometimes I have noticed that not so fresh milk or cream can seriously ruin your entire cup of milk coffee or milk tea or anything you make with it.

Also milk is something that can spoil much faster, so make sure you are using fresh!

Another thing to keep in mind while you make this coffee is that, you can always adjust the amount of sugar (or any other sweetener like maple syurp or honey) to your preference. The amount of sweeteness is almost always the best when you decide for yourself based on your preferences.

Also the amount of milk (or creamer) is also the best when you add the amount based on your personal preference. So feel free to adjust the amount of sugar, creamer etc based on your preference if you want to make adjustments.

The amount of coffee powder used is also based on my preference. You may even slightly increase the amount of coffee if you want the flavor to be more strong.

Below you can get the recipe for cold milk coffee with instant coffee powder and milk in detail.
