step by step instructions to make no boil spaghetti bake

Step 1 - Preheat oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit and layer the spaghetti noodles (or any pasta you are using) in a single layer in the baking pan (you may grease the pan before & add a single layer of extra sauce at the bottom of the pan before adding the noodles, if you wish).

Step 2 - Add the water, marinara sauce and enough salt, stir everything well with the spaghetti noodles.

Step 3 - Now addd the garlic powder and olive oil, and mix again to blend with other ingredients.

Step 4 - Cover the pan with aluminium foil and bake for about 30 minutes.

Step 5 - Once the thirty minutes of baking is done, remove the aluminium foil carefully and add 2 cups of shredded cheese, put the pan back for baking (without the foil) for another few minutes until the cheese begins to melt (it took around 10 minutes for me).

Step 6 - Once the cheese starts to melt, gently stir the contents so the melted cheese will blend with the spaghetti.

Step 7 - Top the spaghetti with the remaining cheese (you may add little more cheese if you wish) and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is all melted and started to brown.

You say to layer noodles on top of the spread. What is the spread?

Thank you so much for pointing that out and I am really sorry about the confusion. I have updated the post now. You can just layer the spaghetti noodles as a single layer in the pan. If needed, you may grease the pan and add some sauce as the first layer, on top of which you can add the noodles. But this is not necessary, you can add the noodles directly in the pan too. Thanks again!

Hi there! I wanted to let you know I make this OFTEN!!!! Son and hubby look forward to it with a nice loaf of oven baked garlic bread! I always make my own homemade meat sauce in a huge crock pot and divide to freeze for different meals be it this one, or lasagna, chicken Parmesan or just a plain spaghetti dinner. The older I get I look for easier recipes as I’ve had a few joint replacements so, I get tired and sore easily. No more meals that take all day to prepare for this chick haha! Thank you! It’s always one we look forward to!!!!

Making it again today! Prepare in the morning and spend the rest of the day in the pool until it’s time to eat! Thanks again! Oh! I actually mix all of my ingredients in a large bowl now and just gently dump it into my casserole, I make too much of a mess trying to stir it in the casserole! Not the neatest cook lol! Have a good day!😁

Hi Kate, I haven't tried adding meat to this recipe since I wanted to keep it meatless. However, I guess you can add it if you want to. Sorry I can't give you directions on how to add it since I haven't tried. Maybe you could follow the directions in this recipe to bake the pasta and also look at another recipe online which gives you instructions on how to add meat? Hope this helps. Thank you!

Hi Anne, We used 1 lbs spaghetti noodles in this recipe, so that would small 8 servings. However, if you want large servings, it would feed about 4 people at least I think. Thank you.
