    creamed corn with frozen corn

Creamed corn is a fantastic side dish for any meal if you love corn in general. The creamy texture of the corn is achieved by using heavy cream and cheese (I used cheddar cheese, and yes, it works!) and the best thing is that we make this creamed corn using frozen corn which makes everything so easy and convenient!

However, you can use fresh corn kernels to make this creamed corn as well, if that's what you have! I always have bags of frozen corn in my freezer (though I buy fresh corn as well when it's in season) so we can always enjoy corn dishes!
