What does green tea taste like?

Green tea can turn bitter if it's not brewed correctly.

If you brew green tea the right way, the taste of the tea is not bitter and you can easily enjoy a nice cup of green tea which doesn't have any strong flavors.

So, basically the tea is bitter if you brew or seep the tea for longer time or if you use more tea bags than recommended.

To make the perfect cup of green tea that is not even slightly bitter in taste, just use one green tea bag for one cup of water and seep the tea for about 3 minutes in a cup of hot water.

You do not need to use boiling water to make green tea. Just use slightly hot water, to seep the tea.

Once the tea is made, you may heat again, if you need the tea to be more hot.

However, if you use too hot water with the tea bag in it, the tea can turn slightly bitter.

The seeping time for green tea is very important to make sure it's not bitter.

You can seep the tea anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes depending on how strong you want your tea.

I usually just do a three minutes of seeping time, which works perfect for me.

Also, do not squeeze the tea bag into the cup, because that will turn the tea bitter in taste.

Once you are done with seeping the tea, just discard the tea bag immediately so it won't add any bitter taste.

Also we need only one green tea bag to make one cup of nice green tea.

Adding more tea bags than required can make it bitter in taste.

I have found that adding good quality raw honey is the best way to sweeten the green tea naturally without using white sugar.

Tips to make green tea taste more good & nice

Tips to making green tea taste better include brewing or seeping the green tea for the right time, not using a lot of tea bags and also using add ons like natural sweeteners to make the tea taste sweet and nice.

To enjoy a nice cup of green tea, follow the below tips!

Seeping time for green tea: Make sure to not seep the green tea for a longer period, because as you seep or brew the tea for longer time, it can become bitter in taste.

Just seep the green tea bags in hot water for about 3 to 5 minutes depending on how strong green tea flavor you want in your tea.

Do not squeeze the green bags into the prepared green tea:

Once the tea is prepared, do not squeeze the tea bags to add more tea flavor into the tea cup.

Because squeezing the tea bags will make the tea stronger in flavor & more bitter in taste.

Do not add too many green tea bags: To make one cup of green tea, you just need one green tea bag.

Adding more green tea bags will make the tea bitter in taste!

Add honey: In my opinion, honey is the best when it comes to sweetening the tea in a delicious and natural way.

making green tea taste better with raw honey

I prefer using two tablespoons of raw honey in a cup of green tea which instantaneously make the green tea delicious!
