What is tomato garlic butter sauce?

Tomato garlic butter sauce is basically a simple but delicious sauce made using fresh tomatoes, butter and garlic as the main ingredients.

This is an easy to make, quick sauce or condiment using fresh tomatoes, but you may also use canned tomatoes to prepare the sauce.

Small varieties of tomatoes like cherry tomatoes also have very good flavor which can be used to make the pasta sauce.

I have this delicious cellentani pasta with roasted cherry tomato sauce here, where cherry tomatoes are used in the preparation!

It is also a good idea to use roasted cherry tomatoes or roasted regular tomatoes to use in this recipe. You may also roast the tomatoes in the oven or a skillet on stove top for extra flavor, since roasted tomatoes imparts more flavor.

You can also lightly roast the tomatoes in the butter while you make the sauce in the pan, as we do here!

When cherry tomatoes are used, you need to increase the amount of tomatoes accordingly, since the size of the tomatoes are small.
