Baked oatmeal breakfast recipe with ripe pear and bananas make it a very healthy, easy to make and yummy oatmeal breakfast recipe which can also be used as a healthy and kid friendly after school snack.
You can bake this oatmeal ahead of time and use it as you wish. If you bake the oatmeal at night, you can use it for next day morning breakfast even without keeping in the refrigerator.
You can quickly bake this oatmeal just before kids come home from school as well. If you are keeping for more than a day, make sure you keep this baked oatmeal in the refrigerator.
As I am using pear and bananas for this baked oatmeal recipe, this is kind of mixed fruits oatmeal breakfast recipe.
I had this one pear which is leftover and I thought of adding it to my favorite banana baked oatmeal recipe, however I slightly made some modifications from the banana baked oatmeal recipe.
I layered the chopped pear slices on top of the oatmeal banana mix I prepared from scratch, sprinkled some cinnamon powder and baked it in the oven. The flavor of the pear banana baked oatmeal is wonderful as it fills up your kitchen and home. This is delicious and kid friendly as well.

So here is how we make this baked oatmeal breakfast recipe with pear & bananas.
I recommend using steel cut rolled oats as it is more chewy.
I used used ripe yellow skinned pear which was sweet. Also it is best to use to ripe bananas as ripe bananas are the best for baking and it adds more natural sweetness to the oatmeal along with great flavor.
Ingredients for baked oatmeal breakfast recipe - pear baked oatmeal recipe
Ripe pear 1
Ripe bananas 2
Oatmeal 1 Cup
Whole Milk ¾ cup
Pure fresh maple syrup ¼ cup
butter ½ stick melted
Organic cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon
Instructions for baked oatmeal breakfast recipe - healthy pear baked oatmeal breakfast recipe with bananas
Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
Chop the pear into small sized pieces and keep it aside.
Mash the bananas and mix it with the oatmeal in a bowl. Add the milk, maple syrup and melted butter to this and mix everything well until well combined.
Pour this oatmeal banana mixture onto the cake pan.
Spread the chopped pear in single layer on top of the oatmeal mixture.
Sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
Bake for about 45 minutes in the oven or until the top of the oatmeal starts to brown.
Enjoy the oatmeal as it cools down.
You can serve the oatmeal warm or chilled as you wish.
Also you can enjoy the pear baked oatmeal as it is, since it is totally delicious even with out any toppings. However, you can also add toppings of your choice like more fresh fruits or nuts or whipped cream as you like!
