can you use frozen berries to make this smoothie?

Yes, you can use frozen berries to make this smoothie and it is awesome! In this recipe, I used fresh berries because I had fresh strawberries and blueberries with me. Also, it I didn't want it too frosty and too cold, so it is a personal preference that I used fresh berries and also chilled milk.

To make the smoothie even more thick and frosty, you can use frozen berries and frozen milk cubes if you wish, or you may reduce the amount of milk! I added sugar in this smoothie, but if you wish you may replace the sugar with any natural sweetener like honey or maple syrup.

You can also adjust the amount of sugar based on your preferences and also depending on how tart or sweet your berries are. In this strawberry blueberry smoothie, we use vanilla extract for flavor.

However, you can also use a pinch of cardamom powder to flavor the smoothie, to make it taste more like Indian stlyle lassi.

Indian lassi is nothing but smoothie made using fresh fruits, yogurt and milk as the main ingredients. Often, delicious mango lassi is prepared using sweet mangoes in India which are extremely popular around the world as one of the most loved Indian drinks. However, we can also make lassi using other fruits like this peach lassi using peaches and aso berries like strawberries, blueberries etc by preparing the smoothies in a similar fashion.

I actually have a very easy and simple strawberry lassi (strawberry smoothie without bananas) here which is super easy to make using very few ingredients! This strawberry blueberry smoothie with yogurt, fresh strawberries, blueberries and milk is much similar to preparation of Indian style lassi and it's delicious!
