    Frozen Vegetables For Roasting

Frozen broccoli and cauliflower bags are super easy to use for cooking or roasting, as they are already cleaned and the florets are separated, ready to use in cooking or baking as you like.

In this recipe, I used a 16 oz bag of frozen broccoli and 16 oz bag of cauliflower.

You may also use any bags of mixed frozen cauliflower and broccoli florets if you wish.

Roasting frozen veggies with or without balsamic vinegar and seasonings is easy, quick and there is only very minimal work involved as the vegetables are already cut and available as frozen.

At what temperature should you bake frozen broccoli and cauliflower?

In this recipe, we preheat the oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit to roast a mix of 16 oz frozen cauliflower and 16 oz frozen broccoli (which is mixed together and seasoned).

How long to bake frozen broccoli and cauliflower in the oven?

oven roasted frozen broccoli and cauliflower

We bake the frozen cauliflower and broccoli mix for about 30 35 minutes time in the oven preheated at 425 degree Fahrenheit so they are well roasted and delicious!

Can you substitute frozen cauliflower and broccoli with fresh produce?

Yes, you may substitute frozen produce with fresh produce if you have fresh cauliflower and broccoli florets!

You just need to separate the florets from the cauliflower and broccoli heads, wash them very well and use it in the recipe.

If you have more florets than you can bake in a single batch, you can bake in multiple batches too.

Just adjust the salt and seasonings based on the amount of produce you have, so the flavor is not lost.

Also, if you are using fresh cauliflower and broccoli florets, the baking time will reduce slightly.

I would just bake them for about 20 minutes at 425 degree Fahrenheit and see if they are roasted well, and if needed you may roast for a couple minutes more.

So here is how you can make easy, roasted veggies using a mix of frozen cauliflower florets and broccoli florets at your home!

How long does roasted cauliflower and broccoli lasts?

    roasted frozen broccoli and cauliflower

In this recipe for roasted frozen cauliflower and broccoli, since we used frozen produce, I do not recommend storing it more than a couple of days in the fridge.

You can store the roasted frozen vegetables in refrigerator for about 2 days if you store them properly in air tight containers.

If you use fresh cauliflower and broccoli to make the roast, you may store them for few more days in the refrigerator and you may even freeze the roasted veggies (in freezer safe bags or containers) for even longer storage.

When you use frozen vegetables like we did in this recipe, you shouldn't freeze them again for food safety reasons.

Below you can get the recipe for roasted broccoli and cauliflower mix in detail.
