How Long To Boil Cauliflower On Stove Top?

how to boil cauliflower on stove top

We use a small or medium sized saucepan to boil cauliflower florets.

In this recipe, I used frozen cauliflower florets but you can use fresh cauliflower florets as well if you have freshly cut cauliflower florets.

Whether you use fresh cauliflower florets or frozen cauliflower florets, you only need to boil the cauliflower florets in boiling water for about 2 to 3 minutes until tender (after the water has come to a boil, this is explained in the recipe).

If you boil the cauliflower for more time, the florets may become too soft and mushy in texture.

If you have a fresh cauliflower head, make sure to clean the cauliflower head very well and cut the florets into medium sized pieces.

If you cut them into small pieces, the cauliflower may become too soft in texture while cooking.

To avoid it and for the best cooked cauliflower, make sure to cut your cauliflower in medium sized pieces.

If you have frozen cauliflower florets, you can directly use it in the recipe which is very convenient and super easy to do!

So here is how you can quickly and easily boil cauliflower on stove top using a saucepan.
