Can You Make Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Without Blender?

    mint chocolate chip milkshake

Yes, you can easily make mint chocolate chip ice cream without blender as well!

In this recipe for milkshake, we use the blender to blend ice cream together with the ice cream to make the blending more easier to do and also the chocolate chips from the ice cream gets crushed while you blend them. However, it is also easy to make this milkshake without using a blender.

In fact, this is possible to make ice cream milkshakes without blender when you are only ice cream and make to the milkshake, because all you have to do is stir the two ingredients really well until they are well combined!

You just need tall cups or jars and a medium long, steel spoon to make it. If you don't want to use a blender, first place the ice cream inside tall cups. Then stir very well using steel spoons so the ice cream is really soft and creamy. Then, add milk to the stirred ice cream little by little and continue to stir until it reaches milkshake consistency. You can also do this in batches like, first you just mix up half of the ice cream and half of the milk, then add the remaining halves and stir well to combine.

You can add more ice cream as needed and you can also top with more ice cream or whipping cream, cherries etc. The only major difference here will be that the chocolate chips from the ice cream will remain whole unlike while you use a blender where they will be mostly crushed to tiny bits!

So if you don't mind the whole chocolate chips in your drink, which can be enjoyed with a spoon, you can make this milkshake even without blender! If you use glass cups or jars to do the manual stirring instead of using blender, make sure to use tall cups or jars and only fill them upto somewhere below the ¾th height and not upto the trim, because if you fill the cups too much in the beginning, it will be difficult to stir the contents. However, if you are ready to use a blender, that is even more easier and you can quickly and more easily make this milkshake in little time!
