Strawberry milkshake has strawberries, milk and vanilla ice cream as the main ingredients, but you can also use strawberry ice cream and vanilla extract instead of vanilla ice cream, if you have strawberry ice cream at home. Milkshakes are very rich and filling drinks and they are on the sweeter side. They are perfect for morning breakfast if you want something sweet for breakfast and they also make simple yet delicious dessert drinks that you can serve any time!
Milkshakes are so popular with kids and its a good way to add some fruits to their drinks. You may skip or reduce the sugar if you want to keep the milkshake on the healthy side. If the fruits used to make the milkshake is very ripe and sweet, you may not need extra sugar.
Also you may use natural sweetners like pure fresh maple syrup or honey to make it more healthier. - whole milk 1 cup (chilled)
- vanilla ice cream 2 cups (equivalent to 1 pint or 4 scoops of ice cream)
- sugar 4 tablespoons
