More easy raspberries include raspberry blueberry smoothie, easy raspberry crisp, raspberry banana coconut milk smoothie etc!

I also added some instant strawberry instant milkshake powder for even more color and flavors, but this is totally optional and you may skip it if you do not have it.

I used strawberry milkshake powder, because I couldn't find a raspberry milkshake flavor and I was certain that the strawberry milkshake powder will only make the already yummy shake more delicious!

Raspberry milkshakes & smoothies usually will have some raspberry seeds in them.

If you do not want the seeds in your raspberry milkshake, you may filter the milkshake through a fine mesh strainer or you can use a good quality smoothie press to remove the raspberry seeds easily from the milkshake.

How to make raspberry milkshake?

To make raspberry milkshake at home, we use the following ingredients.

Ingredients to make raspberry milkshake

12 oz raspberries washed (equivalent to 1.5 cups of raspberries)

2 cups whole milk chilled

4 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon instant strawberry milkshake powder optional

2 ice cubes optional

Step by step instructions

Add the raspberries to a good quality blender.

Add the milk, sugar and vanilla extract.

If you are using the milkshake powder & ice cubes, add them too.

Blend until the milkshake is very smooth and creamy.

If desired, filter the raspberry milkshake through a good strainer to remove any raspberry seeds or use a smoothie press to remove the seeds. Pour into cups, enjoy!

Notes: If you are not serving the raspberry milkshake immediately, refrigerate the milkshake for one to two days and always make sure to serve the milkshake chilled for best results.

You may also transfer the raspberry milkshake to ice cube trays and freeze for little more longer storage.

In this recipe, I didn’t use any ice cream and still the milkshake is very yummy, creamy and delicious.

However, if you wish, you may add one scoop or vanilla ice cream to make the milkshake even more rich & delicious.

If using the ice cream, you may reduce the amount of milk & sugar used in the recipe.

Substitutes for milk in the milkshake recipe:

To make vegan milkshake or dairy free milkshake, you can easily replace the milk with any plant based alternatives like almond milk, cashew milk or oat milk.

Almond milk usually works as a great alternative for milk in milkshake recipes.

You may also use coconut milk, only if you like the flavor of coconut milk based drinks.

Also you may skip the instant milkshake powder or make sure to check the ingredients in the milkshake powder, if you are using any milkshake powder, to make sure it's vegan as well.
