Perfect, Creamy Peach Milkshake With Ice Cream For Summer & Holidays

If you have ice cream at home, you can easily make perfect, creamy milkshakes even without using fresh fruits.

Vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, strawberry ice cream, mango ice cream and peach ice cream are best to make delicious, creamy milkshake drinks without using fresh fruits.

The use of ice creams make it super easy to make delicious, creamy drinks that is refreshing and cooling.

Even when peaches are not in season, you can make this milkshake if you have homemade or store bought peach ice cream, which makes it possible to enjoy this delicious drink even during holiday times like Thanksgiving, Christmas etc, when fresh peaches are not available.

Though we do not need to use fresh peaches in this recipe, we can add a few slices of ripe peaches or nectarine for an additional sharp peachy flavor!

You may even add frozen peach slices or canned peaches (just a few slices) for strong peach flavor if you like it.

If you do not have peach ice cream, you can substitute peach ice cream with vanilla ice cream and use one fresh peach (that is peeled, sliced and pit removed).

You can make this just using fresh peaches and vanilla ice cream to make creamy peach milkshake if you want to keep it simple and use just 2 ingredients.

You may also use peach extract (½ teaspoon), peach syrup (about 2 tablespoons), peach preserves etc along with vanilla ice cream if you do not have fresh peach or peach ice cream, to get the peach flavor!

milk 2 cups chilled

sugar 2 tablespoons

vanilla extract ½ teaspoon

Optional:

cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon

peaches or nectarines ripe, sliced ½ cup (peeled and pit discarded)

Step by step instructions

Add peach ice cream to a good quality blender, and also you may add slices of ripe peaches or nectarines, if using (this is optional) for extra flavor (I sometimes add a few slices of the fruits as well if I have them but it’s not necessary).

Add sugar, milk, vanilla and cinnamon (if using) also to the blender.

Blend until the contents are well blended and frothy!

Transfer the prepared peach milkshake to glass cups and serve immediately for best results!

You may top with whipped cream and maraschino cherries if you desire!

Keep in mind that since peaches have a strong flavor, if you use both peach ice cream and fresh peaches or nectarines (or frozen or canned peaches), the milkshake will have slightly strong flavor of peaches.

If you do not want a strong peachy flavor, you only need to use the ice cream (or only fruits if that is what you prefer) in the recipe.

How Long Does Peach Milkshake Lasts?
