What kind of mangoes are best for making mango milkshake?

Mango milkshakes are creamy, delicious treats perfect for summer as they are so refreshing.

Mangoes are abundant during the summer season, however there are different varieties of mangoes available in the market.

To make the perfect mango milkshake, you can use ripe, sweet mangoes.

mango milkshake

If mangoes are not ripe or if mangoes are sour, the milkshake may not taste very good.

So make sure to choose ripe and sweet mangoes to make the very best milkshake.

Alphonso mangoes are really popular mangoes to make mango based drinks & desserts like mango lassi, mango ice cream, mango juice or milkshake!

Also, some mangoes can be very fibrous and stringy in texture. It’s a good idea to use mangoes that are not very fibrous for a smooth texture.

However, if you can blend it really smooth or if you do not mind the fibres in the mangoes, it doesn’t matter.

Tips to make the best ever mango milkshake

To make the perfect and best ever milkshake, you can follow these tips!

Mangoes: select the best quality mangoes to make the best ever mango milkshake!

The taste & texture of this milkshake will depend a lot on the mangoes that you choose to make the milkshake.

Whatever kind of mangoes you have, make sure they are ripe, sweet and juicy mangoes! That is the kind of mangoes that will give you the best mango milkshake.

If you have only sour tasting mangoes, the mango milkshake will not taste very good and you will probably need to add a lot more sugar to add more sweeteness to the milkshake.

If you use canned mango pulp instead of fresh mangoes, usually you get good quality mango pulp and so this shouldn’t be an issue.

However, always make sure to adjust the amount of sweetener based on the sweeteness of mangoes or mango pulp to make the best milkshake.

It is not necessay to use frozen mangoes to make the milkshake unless you want it very frosty & super thick.

However, make sure to use chilled mangoes if you are not using frozen mangoes.

Milk: Make sure to use good quality fresh milk to make the milkshake.

I recommend using whole milk for the milkshake, since that will give you the most rich & delicious taste.

Also make sure to use cold milk to make the milskhake!

Sweetener: I have used sugar in this recipe, however you may also use honey, maple syrup, stevia etc if you want to use natural sweeteners.

Ice creams: I didn’t use ice cream in this recipe, since mango milskhake is naturally creamy and delicious on its own.

However, you may add ice cream too if you want to make it even more rich, more creamy and more delicious.

If using ice cream, you can use one scoop of ice cream and reduce the amount of milk by half.

Mango ice cream, vanilla ice cream etc are good choices if you want to add ice cream to mango milkshake!
