However, in this strawberry juice recipe, we also use some sugar to add sweetness and balance the slight tartness of strawberries & lemon.
If you are looking to drink strawberry juice only for its health benefits, you may want to skip the sugar and replace the sugar with any natural sweeteners of your choice.
You can always adjust the amount of sugar based on your preference and you may also replace white sugar with natural sweetners like maple syrup, honey etc if you wish to make it more healthy.
You may even skip the sweetener totally, if the strawberries are very sweet or if you do not want to add any extra sweetener for the optimal health benefits of drinking strawberry juice.
This recipe is actually a strawberry juice recipe flavored with citrus lemon juice, so our emphasis is on preparing refreshing fruit juice using fresh strawberries as the main ingredient and flavoring it using few drops of lemon juice for the amazing and refreshing taste.
So it also resembles strawberry lemonade in taste and flavor though strawberry lemonade is supposed to have more lemon flavor and more sweetness.
You may also skip the lemon juice if you are looking for a pure fresh strawberry juice without any citrus flavors, if that is what you want.
However, I strongly recommend to add the lemon juice as well, since it takes the flavors to it’s best!

How To Make Homemade Strawberry lemon Juice?
We need the following ingredients to make this refreshing, delicious and easy juice from strawberries at home.

1 cup fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
¾ cup water chilled
2 ice cubes optional
Step By Step Instructions
Wash the strawberries in water really well and cut the leaves if any. You can use a strawberry huller to make the job more easy.
Cut the strawberries in to halves or more to make the blending more easy.
Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
Strain the juice to filter out any seeds (optional) and serve in tall glass cups, enjoy!
Notes: If you are saving the strawberry lemon juice for later use, you should refrigerate it as the juice taste best when used cold.
You may also freeze the this juice for a few days or more ( I haven’t done this for more than a few days) in ice cube trays and blend as needed.
Can You Use Frozen Strawberries To Make Strawbery Juice?
Yes, you may also use frozen strawberries to make the juice.
Just make sure to use good quality strawberries for best results!
If you are using frozen strawberries, you can skip the ice cubes.
However, if you are using frozen strawberries to make the juice, I wouldn’t recommend saving the juice for more time for later use.
Can You Double The Recipe?
Yes, you can easily double the recipe for strawberry juice!
This recipe is for just one serving, but you can easily double, triple or make even more servings of the juice by increasing the ingredients accordingly.
To double the recipe to make 2 servings of juice, you can use two cups of strawberries, 1.5 cups water, 4 tablespoons lemon juice and 4 tablespoons sugar (may adjust based on preference).
Also you may make many servings of the juice, by increasing the amount of strawberries used and also increasing the other ingredients proportionally.
Strawberry Kiwi Juice
Strawberry and kiwi fruits make a very delicious and unique combination and you can make delicious and refreshing drink using strawberries and kiwis.
I have fresh kiwi juice recipe here, if you want to try making fresh kiwifruit juice!
To make strawberry kiwi juice, you can replace about ½ cup of fruits with one kiwi fruit and you may need to increase the sugar as well since the kiwis can be really sour sometimes.
If you can fine slightly less sour kiwi fruits that will be the best choice but you can also use the sour kiwi to make delicious strawberry kiwi juice, just adjust the amount of sugar as needed to add sweetness to the juice and to balance the tartness of kiwis.
My most favorite variety of kiwi fruit to use for making juice is the Newzealand kiwi with slightly yellow flesh inside.
If you want to double the recipe for strawberry kiwi juice, instead of using 2 cups of strawberries you can use one cup of strawberries and 2 kiwi fruits.
Also you will need to increase the amount of sugar (or other sweetners like honey or maple syrup) to balance the tartness of kiwi fruit.
This is, if you love the kiwi flavor in the juice!
If you prefer the strawberry flavor more, you can add more strawberries and adjust the amount of kiwis accordingly, based on your preferences.
Just like strawberry kiwi juice, strawberry kiwi fruit salad is also very delicious and simple and easy to make!
