How To Make Moist Fallen Chocolate Brownie Cake Without Eggs?
We need the following ingredients to make this eggless fudgy brownie chocolate cake from scratch at home.
Ingredients needed for fallen chocolate cake
all purpose flour 1 ¼ cup (I used bleached all purpose flour in this recipe)
cocoa powder ¼ cup
baking powder 1.5 teaspoon
baking soda ½ teaspoon
cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon
dry milk powder 4 tablespoons
water 1 cup
butter ½ cup melted (at room temperature)
sugar 1.5 cups
vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
step by step process
Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients - flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, baking soda and milk powder until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
In another bowl, mix together the melted butter and sugar.
Add the water and vanilla extract to the butter sugar mixture and stir well until the mixture is well blended.
Transfer the wet ingredients mixture slowly to the dry flour mixture and mix well to form the batter.
Do not overly mix the batter, but make sure there is no dry flour mixture left at the bottom of the bowl and also make sure all the ingredients are evenly mixed together.
Preapare a cake pan by greasing with little butter and line with parchment paper (this is a very moist chocolate cake so I highly recommend using the parchment paper).
Pour the cake batter to the prepared cake pan.
To bake the cake
Bake in the preheated oven to about 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the centre of the cake comes out clean.
If the top of the cake looks cooked before the inside is completely cooked (check in about 40 minutes time), cover the pan with foil and bake for the remaining time.
Allow the cake to completely cool down before frosting or slicing and serving!
When it's flipped carefully, it looks even more smooth, shiny and glowy in texture!
This fudgy brownie chocolate cake is super moist in texture and so delicious you can enoy it even without frosting.
If you wish to add frosting to this fudgy chocolate cake, you can use vanilla cream cheese frosting or chocolate cream cheese frosting for best results!
You may also top this with fresh fruits like cherries, strawberries etc or add colorful sprinkles for an easy decoration.
