Blueberry drinks are naturally colorful, refreshing and nutritious and the best thing is that you can make homemade blueberry drinks at home very easily.

Just like this blueberry milkshake, blueberry & strawberry smoothie, blueberry raspberry smoothie, blueberry banana smoothie or blueberry lemon infused water, blueberry juice is a great, easy way to use blueberries to make refreshing drinks.

This fresh fruit juice is purely made of just blueberries, water and sugar.

However, you may add a hint of lemon juice (about 1 to 2 tablespoons based on your preference) if you want to add the tangy flavor of lemon also to the juice, so you get a mild blueberry lemonade flavor in the juice.

You may also mix this juice with other add other fruit juices like fresh apple juice, pineapple juice etc to make different flavors of mixed fruit juice.

Another great fruit juice to mix with blueberry juice is pomegranate juice.

Blueberry pomegranate juice can be made by mixing blueberry juice & pomegranate juice together.

Just use the same quantities of both juice (equal amounts of both) or use more amount of the juice which you like the most.

How to make blueberry juice at home?

We use the following ingredients to make delicious and refreshing juice at home.

Ingredients used

fresh blueberries 2 cups

water 2 cups

sugar 4 tablespoons

ice cubes as you need

Step by step instructions

Wash the blueberries very well and add to the blender.

Also add the sugar and water to the blender.

Blend the contents until very smooth.

There could be tiny bits of blueberry skins in the juice which is very normal while using blueberries to make juice or milkshakes or smoothies.

Filter the fresh juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove the skin and seed residue and also the foam that is formed during the preparation of the juice.

You may filter the juice a couple of times, if necessary.

Also you can remove any foam on top of the filtered juice easily using a spoon.

Transfer the prepared, filtered juice to glasses, add ice cubes and serve immediately for best results!

Notes: If you need to save the juice for later use, make sure to refrigerate the fresh juice until serving to keep it fresh.

If saving for more than a couple of days, you may transfer the juice to ice cube trays and freeze the juice which can be stored for few more days freshly.

The skins of the blueberries can quickly stick to the strainer and blender used in preparing the juice, so make sure to immediately wash and clean the blender and strainer once the juice is prepared, or it may become difficult later!
