If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, I am not sure about using pineapples so it’s a good idea to check with your doctor since many advise against using pineapples during pregnanacy.

Also, make sure you do not have an allergy for pineapples if you are trying pineapples for the first time.

It is also important to use ripe pineapple to make pineapple juice since unripe pineapple will not taste good and may not be good for health reasons as well.

Pineapples are also delicious tropical fruits, so if you are looking for a tropical flavored fruit juice try pineapple juice or this watermelon pineapple juice for a very refreshing drink!

Tips to make the best watermelon pineapple juice

watermelon pineapple juice

To make the best watermelon pineapple juice, please follow the below tips:

Make sure to use good quality, fresh watermelon and pineapple.

If the fruits that you use are not fresh, naturally the fruit juice won’t taste fresh so make sure to always use fresh juice!

It’s best to use seedless watermelon to prepare watermelon juice if you find it difficult to remove the seeds from the melon prior to juicing.

This is because, if there are seeds while you make the juice in the blender, the seeds can get crushed and alter the taste of the juice.

To avoid this happening, make sure to remove the seeds as much as possible (however if there is little small seeds, no need to worry much about it as you can strain the juice if desired).

Also, make sure to use ripe & sweet pineapple for the best flavor!

For the best tasting juice, make sure to serve the juice as soon as it’s prepared or make sure to serve it chilled!

Also use chilled fruits and chilled water to make refreshing & cooling juice!

Also add the water and blend until smooth.

Filter the prepared juice through a fine mesh strainer to remove any residue from pineapples (this is not needed if you are using canned pineapples).

Transfer the prepared fresh juice to serving glass tumblers or cups ( with added ice cubes if desired).

Serve immediately for best results!

If you are saving this juice for serving later on the day, make sure to keep it chilled in the refrigerator until ready to serve and also you can serve this along with lots of ice cubes, especially if you are taking this outdoors.

If you double or triple the quantity and make large batches of juice, it’s a good idea to freeze it if you are not serving on the same day.

You can transfer the juice to ice cube trays for more longer storage.

Variations:

It’s not just juice that you can make with watermelons and pineapples.

As I mentioned earlier, watermelons and pineapples make a very delicious combination.

Pineapples are also the ideal fruit to give you the tropical flavor in your drinks and salads.

Just like watermelon pineapple juice, one another popular and delicious drink that you can make using watermelons and pineapples is watermelon smoothie!

To make a delicious watermelon pineapple smoothie, you can replace the chilled fruits with frozen fruits.

Also use ice cubes instead of chilled water (you can also reduce the amount of water and replace with ice cubes for a frosty texture ideal for smoothies).

If you are making smoothies, it is a good idea to skip the sugar and use natural sweeteners like honey to make it more healthy, since smoothies are usually made in a more healthier way.

Instead of water, you can use pineapple juice or watermelon juice in the smoothie along with ice cubes & frozen fruits to make the perfect watermelon and pineapple smoothie!

I have other delicious, refreshing smoothies like this mango orange smoothie, strawberry blueberry smoothie, mango lassi (Indian mango smoothie), peach smoothie with yogurt etc are so easy to make for summer!

You can also make delicious tropical salads using ripe, sweet pineapple slices and seedless watermelon slices which will be very refreshing, cooling, healthy snacks or fruit desserts for summer.

Also you can add other fruits like strawberries to this juice recipe to make it even more flavorful and delicious.

Strawberries too go great with watermelons and pineapples and add great flavor to the juice.

So feel free to add a handful of strawberries to make a different flavor to the delicious juice, if you wish!

Also, if you are making smoothies using watermelons and pineapples, you can add strawberries in that too, as strawberries are great for smoothies!
