Can You Make Mango Compote Using Frozen Mangoes?
Yes, you may use mango compote using frozen mangoes too, just make sure to use sweet mangoes in the recipe even if you are using frozen mangoes.
If using frozen mango slices, you may thaw the mangoes before making the sauce or if you are using frozen mangoes directly, the cooking time may slightly increase.
Also, if you are using frozen mangoes, I do not recommend storing the prepared sauce for more than a couple of days even in the refrigerator since it is made from frozen mangoes.
So if you are making mango sauce using frozen mangoes, it is a good idea to stick to making a small batch of sauce and use it immediately or keep refrigerated properly in food containers and use within a couple of days!
