Peach cobbler is one of the most popular American Southern desserts and it is so delicious and yummy!
Out of all cobblers I love peach cobbler the best, but I also love strawberry cobbler, strawberry peach cobbler, apple cobbler, easy blueberry cobbler etc as well!
In fact, cobblers are one of the best desserts ever in my opinion, especially peach cobblers which is the perfect dessert to serve after dinner or anytime!
Cobblers have a delicious fruit filling and a crust and the crust can be made soft & cake like or biscuit like in texture.
The biscuit like topping is more traditional and popular in cobblers, but for some reason I love the soft, cake like crust more which goes great with the juicy fruits like peaches.

If you have lots of fresh leftover peaches during summer season, you may even freeze some of the ripe peaches and use frozen peaches in recipes like this easy peach cobbler.
So you can easily enjoy homemade juicy peach cobbler throughout the year irrespective of the season and you do not need to worry if fresh peaches are available.
If using fresh peaches, you can use the peeled, sliced fruits directly in the recipe.
If using frozen peaches, it is a good idea to thaw the peaches first and remove any extra moisture content before using them to make the peach cobbler.
Also, if you are using canned peaches to make the cobbler, you should discard any extra water and remove any extra moisture content from the peaches before using in the recipe. This is to avoid the crust of the cobbler getting soggy while baking.
